OmniAir Consortium® will host a workshop on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) based tolling systems. Hosted in cooperation with the North Carolina Turnpike Authority (NCTA), the event will take place on Thursday, March 26, in Raleigh, NC.

As tolling agencies pilot deployments of V2X-based tolling, in-vehicle payment systems, and other emerging payment technologies, OmniAir is launching a testing and certification program. This will build on OmniAir’s existing testing and certification programs for RFID transponders and our V2X certification programs. As part of this effort, OmniAir is seeking input from the tolling community on program requirements.  

The workshop will explore lessons learned from pilot projects and early deployments, as well as standards, testing methodologies, and certification requirements. This event will be open to OmniAir members and invited guests. Space is limited. If you are interested in participating either as a speaker, moderator, or workshop participant, please email Ryan Hall, Vice President of Business Development.
