Jason JonMichael is a Senior Strategist at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Highly Automated Systems Safety Center of Excellence (HASS COE), where he oversees the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Mobile Network Aviation Assessment Program (MNAAP). He will discuss how the U.S. Department of Transportation is advancing cellular-based electronic conspicuity for aviation (CBEC-A). Joining the discussion is Mike Brown, Institute Engineer, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), who will discuss rapid prototyping an testing of communications equipment for MNAAP.

This is a unique opportunity to engage with government and industry experts as they discuss emerging technologies, key challenges, and the collaborative efforts driving the next generation of connected mobility.  We will also discuss the goals and objectives of  OmniAir’s new invitation-only CEBC-A Working Group.
