Join us for our August Monthly Membership meeting, as we explore the topic of connectivity for enhancing the safety of manned and unmanned aircraft. We have invited two guest speakers to talk about the concept of Cellular-based Electronic Conspicuity for Aviation (CEBC-A), and the U.S. Department of Transportation's Mobile Network Aviation Assessment Program (MNAAP).
Jason JonMichael is a Senior Strategist at the U.S. Department of Transportation's Highly Automated Systems Safety Center of Excellence (HASS COE), where he oversees the U.S. Department of Transportation's MNAAP program and other major initiatives. Jason will discuss how the USDOT's MNAAP initiative is advancing electronic conspicuity for aviation. Joining the discussion is Mike Brown, Institute Engineer, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), who will discuss rapid prototyping and testing of communications equipment for MNAAP.
This is a unique opportunity to engage with government and industry experts as they discuss emerging technologies, key challenges, and the collaborative efforts driving the next generation of connected mobility. We will also discuss the goals and objectives of OmniAir's new invitation-only CEBC-A Working Group.
