OmniAir Consortium® will host our July Monthly Membership Meetings, July 27 and 28, which will focus on connected and automated vehicles in Taiwan.  OmniAir® has invited two leading industry experts to offer their insights on C-ITS and C-V2X testing and deployment in the island nation.

Men-Feng Wu, President of the Taiwan Telematics Industry Association (TTIA), and Dr. Ronald Wu, Executive Assistant to the Chairman of HwaCom Systems Inc., which is leading the C-ITS Smart Road project in Danhai.

The presentations will include a brief introduction to TTIA and the development of the telematics industry in Taiwan. Update on Traffic Controller to Roadside (TCROS) standards and an overview of the Danhai field test site in the Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. 

Please join us at 9:00 pm EDT on Wednesday, July 27, or 1:00 pm EDT on Thursday, July 28.

OmniAir Consortium entered a Memorandum of Understanding with TTIA to help advance OmniAir Certification for C-V2X in Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific region.
