OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, announces that LG Innotek has joined OmniAir Consortium as an Associate Level Member.
LG Innotek, Korea’s first electronic components company, was founded in 1970 and has grown to include four business units including Electronic Components, Optics Solutions, Substrate and Material, and Automotive Components, and currently employs over 15,000 individuals in ten countries.

LG Innotek is an automotive Tier 2 company that can supply stable V2X hardware for mass production and deliver software supporting both C-V2X and DSRC with a single software development kit (SDK). In addition, their products can be used regardless of the region.
OmniAir looks forward to working with LG Innotek’s team of engineers and software developers to help shape and develop our newest certification program for modules 2021. LG Innotek is a global leader in module development and was the world’s first to develop a dual-use DSRC / C-V2X module. LG Innotek’s perspective and expertise will be invaluable to our certification program that is scheduled to launch in Q4 of 2021.
