OmniAir Grows Global Membership Base
Over a Dozen Leading Transportation Technology Companies Join in Q1

Building on its record-setting membership growth in 2017, OmniAir Consortium added 13,  UPDATE 14,  Vector joined minutes after the initial announcement, new members in the first three months of 2018. These high-profile companies and agencies are helping OmniAir to advance the testing, certification, and deployment of connected vehicle and ITS technologies.

In the first quarter, OmniAir added a major automaker, top automotive suppliers, leading technology companies, and a transportation department nationally-recognized for its commitment to smart mobility. OmniAir Consortium develops testing and certification programs for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) devices. OmniAir Consortium’s members work together to promote the deployment of safe, secure, interoperable connected vehicle technologies. OmniAir’s members work cooperatively to address technical challenges and to advance independent, third-party testing and certification.

OmniAir’s membership base is international, reflecting the growing market for connected and automated vehicle technologies around the world. Our newest members from Germany, Israel, Japan, Canada, Singapore, China, Korea and the United States of America reflect this global economy.
