As 2025 comes to a close, I want to thank our members for your many contributions to advancing OmniAir Consortium’s mission.
This has been a strong year for OmniAir. We welcomed a dozen new members, including state departments of transportation, toll agencies, and technology providers from around the world. We also certified more than 20 devices, including the first multiprotocol tolling readers that support national toll interoperability.
We hosted two successful Plugfests in Florida and Michigan, where we saw the first U.S. multivendor V2X tolling demonstrations and successful SCMS interoperability among security providers from North America, Europe, and Asia.
OmniAir also completed an 18-month Federal Highway Administration contract to align certification testing with U.S. Department of Transportation needs, while delivering technical workshops, webinars, and deep-dive sessions throughout the year.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered time and expertise to make these accomplishments possible.
Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year. I look forward to sharing OmniAir’s 2026 plans with you soon.
A Personal Note of Gratitude
It has been an honor to serve as OmniAir’s executive director since 2016. I am deeply grateful to our members, partners, and volunteers worldwide for their steadfast commitment to our shared mission.
I am also humbled by the board’s decision to extend my contract for another five years. I look forward to continuing to lead OmniAir as we advance transportation safety and mobility together.
Sincerely,
Jason M. Conley
Executive Director
