The open repository will harmonize the TCI library and code sets across all connected vehicle product testing environments introducing more interoperable devices into the marketplace. Our TCI enables automated controlled response testing for V2X devices. The TCI supports 802.11p, 3GPP, 1609.x, J2945/1, and J3161/1, in addition to C-V2X test scripts, utilize standard protocols between test tools and devices that allow for automated, controlled, and repeatable testing. The TCI is scalable and enables users to push “AT” commands and to change XML config files to C-V2X devices under test. These updates will help lower the overall cost of certification testing as the process is automated. The advantages of using OmniAir’s TCI for the system under test development are as follows.- Decrease time spent developing, testing, and debugging a system under test.
- Ease of testing by providing V2X-compliant test cases and message formats.
- Ease of access by providing a TCI repository to the public under the open-source Apache License 2.0.
- Offers rich scalability allowing extensions to the existing ASN.1 commands or adding new commands to the library.
- Radio agnostic – the TCI code is implemented at the protocol level allowing any radio or modem layer to interface with it.
