OmniAir Consortium® is pleased to announce the upcoming OmniAir Maryland Plugfest, June 1-5 in Baltimore, Maryland. OmniAir is hosting this week-long testing and readiness event in partnership with one of the world’s leading research institutions, Johns Hopkins University at its Mount Washington campus, in collaboration with Maryland Transportation Authority and Maryland’s CAV Working Group.
OmniAir Plugfests are the premier testing events for connected vehicles and infrastructure, bringing together industry, government, and academia to advance V2X readiness and deployment. Participants include automotive OEMs, device manufacturers, application developers, test laboratories, test equipment providers, research institutions, and infrastructure owner-operators. These testing events provide an opportunity for participants to assess standards conformance, interoperability, security, and performance in a collaborative environment.
OmniAir Plugfests also offer technical learning and networking opportunities. In conjunction with the week-long testing event, OmniAir will host a one-day CAV Workshop with leading experts in vehicle connectivity and automation. Featured topics will include:
- V2X Interoperability testing around the world
- CAV Deployments and Use Cases
- AI in transportation
- Cybersecurity
- Post-quantum cryptography
In addition to the one-day workshop, the event will feature deep-dive technical presentations each day, as well as technology demonstrations, networking reception, and more…
Registration is now open. Early bird discounts for testing teams will be available through March 15. Individual attendee-only tickets are also available for the workshop and demonstrations.
