Privacy Policy

The OmniAir Consortium, Inc. (“OmniAir”) values the data privacy of its members, potential members, its employees, and other stakeholders that engage with us.  As a member-based association, its business operations include the collection, storage, and processing of information, including limited personal information, in order to provide our members, prospective members and other stakeholders with the requested services and certain information regarding our services and programs and issues of significance to our members. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is governed by our Website Terms & Conditions (available at: https://omniair.org/website-terms-conditions/).

OmniAir adopts and will comply with the following principles and practices regarding its collection and processing of personal information belonging to its members, prospective members and other stakeholders with an interest in OmniAir: 

  1. When you access the OmniAir website (www.omniair.org), minimal information, such as your IP address and type of device, is collected for the purposes of system administration, security, and other functions of the website.  We do not combine IP addresses with any collected personal information, nor do we compile session activity reports by IP address.  The website uses strictly necessary cookies for the functioning of the website.  Upon request, OmniAir will advise you how to disable cookies in your browser but doing so will lessen your online experience.  For more information about how to manage and disable cookies, please see: allaboutcookies.org. In addition, we do honor Do Not Track signals or other browser-based privacy signals.
  2. The Privacy Policy also applies when you contact OmniAir via email or by telephone.
  3. OmniAir will collect only the minimum necessary types and amount of personal information to provide our services, programs, etc. 
  4. Individuals affiliated with members, prospective members and other stakeholders are requested to register via the OmniAir website (www.omniair.org/contact-us/) by providing their name, affiliation, business phone and business email.  Registered individuals will receive periodic emails from OmniAir regarding, for example, their membership, upcoming programs and events, as well as member and industry news.  Individuals no longer wishing to receive these email notifications may unsubscribe at any time by contacting OmniAir at [email protected] or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link included with these email notifications.
  5. OmniAir does use personal information to service targeted online advertising. Similarly, OmniAir does not sell, share, rent, release or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing, promotional or other commercial purposes.
  6. OmniAir has put in place, or its third-party vendors and agents have place in place, reasonable and appropriate security and administrative steps to protect collected personal information.
  7. OmniAir may disclose personal information to third-party vendors and agents to provide specific services or programs.  These third-party vendors and agents are contractually obligated to provide the same or greater security protections for personal information as does OmniAir and may not use the personal information for purposes other than set forth in their agreements with OmniAir.  In addition, OmniAir may disclose personal  information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to protect our rights or interests or the rights or interests of others.
  8. OmniAir will retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the requested services and programs.  Upon termination of an organization’s membership in OmniAir, or if OmniAir receives notice that an individual is leaving the employ of a member, OmniAir will delete the personal information of the relevant individual’s or individuals’ personal information.  In addition, individuals may request at any time that OmniAir delete for any reason all their personal information retained by OmniAir.  Any such requests should be directed to OmniAir at: [email protected].
  9. OmniAir is located in the United States and is subject to its data privacy laws and regulations.  Personal information provided to OmniAir will be processed and retained in the United States.  For members, prospective members and other stakeholders located outside the United States, by registering with OmniAir, or otherwise engaging with OmniAir where providing your personal information is necessary for OmniAir to provide a requested service, program or other benefit, you consent to having your personal Information transferred to and processed in the United States in accordance with this policy. Be advised, however, that the data privacy laws in the United States may not be as strict as in your home country or where you are a citizen. US law enforcement also may obtain access to any personal information we collect and process, subject to due process requirements.
  10. OmniAir will provide individuals with access to their personal information.  Individuals may request that OmnAir delete their personal information.  Any such requests should be directed to OmniAir at: [email protected]. 
  11. Other OmniAir policies, contracts, governing document and other materials may include data privacy and/or confidentiality provisions.  This Privacy Policy does not render ineffective, negate or otherwise override any such data privacy and/or confidentiality provisions in these other OmniAir materials, which remain in full force and effect.
  12. OmniAir’s website, services and progams are not directed to children, and OmniAir does not knowingly collect personal Information from users who are under the age of 13.  If you believe a child has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us at [email protected].
  13. OmnAir reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check back periodically to confirm the most recent modification date to ensure that you are aware of any changes in our processing of your Personal Information. Your continued access to the OmniAir website after any changes signifies your express and unambiguous consent to any such changes. If you do not agree with such changes, you should immediately stop access the Website.  This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date provided above.
