OmniAir Consortium® will host a special meeting of the V2X Technical Working Group focused on emerging standards supporting V2X-based fee collection and road user charging.
For this special session, OmniAir is extending participation beyond its membership, inviting all interested stakeholders to attend.
During this session, Justin McNew, President and Founder of JMC Rota Inc. and editor of the SAE J3217 (V2X PC5 Fee Collection) and SAE J3217/R (Road User Charging) standards, will present an overview of both documents.
His presentation will highlight the key differences between the two standards and discuss key implementation considerations, including real-world deployment considerations and future applications.
This special meeting is designed for industry stakeholders involved in V2X standards development, deployment planning, and policy-aligned technical implementation, and offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the editor of these SAE standards and participate in an open technical discussion.
