TransCore Earns OmniAir Certification for TDM Tag and Multi-Protocol Reader

OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, is proud to announce a milestone: TransCore’s JED III (J3) TDM Hardshell Transponder has become the first-ever OmniAir Certified® TDM transponder. In addition, TransCore’s Encompass 6 (E6) Multi-Protocol Interior Reader has also earned OmniAir Certification for Open Road Tolling. Both devices were tested by DEKRA at its laboratory in Sterling, Virginia, with field evaluations conducted at an OmniAir Authorized Field Test Site in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
