OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, announces the election of three new Directors:

The new Directors, elected at the OmniAir® Annual Board Meeting, will serve terms of three years.

“OmniAir’s newly elected Directors bring deep experience in transportation technology and valuable industry insights,” said Steve Novosad, Chair of OmniAir’s Board of Directors and Assistant Vice President, HNTB Corporation. “They will help to guide OmniAir’s strategy, and to advance the organization’s mission of ensuring trusted communications technologies for transportation.”

With over 80 members from around the world, OmniAir’s membership includes device manufacturers, engineering firms, test labs, test equipment providers, automotive OEMs, Tier One suppliers, and deploying agencies. OmniAir offers independent, third-party testing and certification programs for both RFID tolling and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connected vehicle technologies.

“It is an honor to welcome these distinguished transportation leaders to our Board of Directors,” said Jason Conley, Executive Director of OmniAir. “2019 was a record growth year for OmniAir. 2020 promises to be even busier, with the planned launch new OmniAir certification programs for multi-protocol tolling and C-V2X devices.”
