OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, announces the first 12 test stations for the OmniAir San Diego Plugfest (Oct. 28-Nov. 1).
OmniAir Plugfests bring together leading vehicle-to-everything (V2X) device manufacturers, test laboratories, test systems providers, and V2X deployers from around the world for a week of intensive interoperability, conformance, and security testing.
This year’s event, hosted by Qualcomm, in San Diego, California will provide an opportunity for cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) vendors to work with leading connected vehicle testing experts to ensure that they are ready for deployment. OmniAir will offer testing for C-V2X on-board units (OBU), roadside units (RSU), and modules.
New for this Plugfest will be opportunities for initial capabilities screening for all participating testing teams, overnight testing, and certificates of participation for all participating testing teams.
