In the summer of 2024, SAE published updated versions of the C-V2X deployment profiles (SAE J3161 and J3161/1). Guest presenter and OmniAir member, Lan Tran (Qualcomm) will review these updates, which include the new Sidelink Synchronization Signal (SLSS) radio resource configuration. SLSS enables operation in GNSS-denied environments, such as tunnels. Other updates include L2 broadcast destination addresses and improved congestion control options.
