OmniAir Consortium is proud to announce the workshop agenda part of the OmniAir Michigan Plugfest, taking place October 6–10 at the American Center for Mobility in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This one-day workshop, taking place on Tuesday, October 7, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, will bring together leading voices from government, industry, and research to discuss the future of connected and automated vehicle technology.
The day begins with opening remarks from Jason M. Conley, Executive Director of OmniAir Consortium, and Brian Romansky, President of SCMS Manager, followed by a welcome from Reuben Sarkar, CEO & President of the American Center for Mobility. Attendees will also hear a keynote address from Michele Mueller, Manager of Connected and Automated Vehicles and Electrification at the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The workshop will feature three engaging panel discussions:
Panel 1: Ensuring V2X is Day One Deployment Ready, moderated by Justin Anderson, U.S. DOT ITS JPO, with panelists from WSP, Kapsch TrafficCom, SCMS Manager, and 5GAA.
Panel 2: Network V2X – View from Korea, moderated by Sean H.J. Cho, President & CEO, AUTOCRYPT Inc., featuring experts from LG Electronics, SaesolTech, and Wayties, Inc.
Panel 3: Future Trends – Automation, Connectivity, and Electrification, moderated by Jacob Harel, HARMAN International, with perspectives from Qualcomm, DEKRA, and Ford Motor Company.
Midday, participants will enjoy a special Lunch & Chuseok celebration, featuring authentic Korean cuisine from Ann Arbor’s acclaimed Miss Kim restaurant.
The afternoon will continue with field and bench demonstrations showcasing the latest in V2X technologies, followed by an evening reception at the Ann Arbor Marriott at Eagle Crest.
