OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for intelligent transportation systems (ITS), tolling, and connected vehicles, announces that the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), based in Seongnam, Korea, has been re-authorized as an OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratory (OATL).
TTA’s requalification recognizes its continued excellence in testing and its expanded capabilities to support a broader range of cellular-vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technologies, including LTE-V2X PC5-based devices. As one of OmniAir’s global network of accredited laboratories, TTA provides comprehensive laboratory and field-testing services to ensure that connected vehicle devices meet OmniAir’s rigorous certification standards for performance, security, and interoperability.
“OmniAir is proud to continue our partnership with TTA, a proven leader in connected vehicle testing,” said Jason Conley, Executive Director of OmniAir Consortium. “Their requalification and expanded testing capabilities strengthen our global certification program and provide manufacturers around the world with greater access to trusted, high-quality testing resources.”
OmniAir’s certification program provides third-party accredited testing and validation of V2X and connected vehicle devices to ensure they conform to industry standards and deliver secure, interoperable performance across deployments worldwide.
Manufacturers and suppliers seeking certification for C-V2X roadside units (RSUs) or on-board units (OBUs) are encouraged to begin the registration process early. Testing slots are prioritized upon receipt of a completed application, product certification agreement, and certification payment.
