Guest Presentation:

Hawaiʻi’s legislatively-authorized road usage charge (RUC) program is set to launch July 1, 2025, leveraging existing vehicle inspection and registration processes. This presentation will provide background on the HiRUC Program, collaboration across several entities to implement the program, the complexities and opportunities of implementing a government-operated RUC program, and key success factors and lessons learned so far.
