OmniAir Plugfest @ Mcity

The premier testing event for connected vehicles is returning to Ann Arbor!

OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, is hosting its next Plugfest at the world-class Mcity test facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the week of May 13-17, 2024.

The OmniAir Plugfest at Mcity, hosted by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Insitute (UMTRI) is a week-long C-V2X testing event that will bring together leading device manufacturers, automotive OEMs, test laboratories, test equipment providers, and deploying agencies from around the world.

The event will feature laboratory bench testing, field performance testing, interoperability, and security testing for C-V2X radios and modules. V2X safety applications will also be tested in lab and field environments. Participation is strongly encouraged for any vendors considering applying for OmniAir Certification or for product commercialization and deployment.

In conjunction with the Plugfest, OmniAir and our event partners will jointly host a one-day Connected Mobility Workshop featuring leading officials and experts from government, industry, and academia. Keynote presentations, plenary sessions, and breakout technical sessions will offer attendees an opportunity to learn and exchange technical knowledge.

The event will also feature live connected and automated vehicle technology demonstrations, technical learning sessions, and tours of the test facility.  All laboratory and field testing will occur at Mcity.
