OmniAir Consortium® welcomes the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) as its newest member. As an OmniAir member, Georgia will help advance testing and certification programs for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicle technologies.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is a national leader in deploying connected vehicle infrastructure and innovative mobility solutions. Responsible for operating and maintaining one of the nation’s largest state-owned transportation networks, spanning more than 18,000 centerline miles, GDOT and its nearly 4,000 employees are committed to safety, sustainability, and the real-world deployment of advanced transportation technologies.

“We are excited to have a recognized national leader in transportation technology like Georgia DOT as an OmniAir member,” said Jason Conley, executive director of OmniAir. “GDOT’s commitment to improving safety and mobility and reducing congestion through the deployment of intelligent transportation systems and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies is impressive. We look forward to working together to advance OmniAir’s testing and certification programs.”

Georgia DOT is hosting the 2025 ITS World Congress in Atlanta. OmniAir conducted validation testing of devices deployed as part of a Day One Deployment District showcase during the World Congress.
