OmniAir Plugfest events are the premier testing venues for Connected Vehicles. These week-long testing extravaganzas, provide an opportunity to test V2X devices, in both lab and field environments. OmniAir Plugfests draw device manufacturers, Tier One Suppliers, chipset providers, OEMs, deploying agencies, and leading engineering firms from Asia, Europe, and North America.

Policy Conference
Panels of leading technical and policy experts from around the world will explore technical and policy issues, including global interoperability, cybersecurity, DSRC vs C-V2X for safety applications, as well as sustainable transportation options. There are representatives from the Spanish Government, and local industry leaders along with connected mobility experts, and researchers, from world.
Live demonstrations of connected vehicle safety applications, tours of the indoor bench and track testing will be offered to attendees and media representatives.

Getting Around

Getting to the Technology Park from the City Centre
Taxi: It is the most comfortable option and the best if travelling in pairs or in groups. It takes 20 minutes approximately depending on the traffic conditions and cost around EUR 25-30
Omniair Plugfest Courtesy Bus: A courtesy bus will pick up the participants at Malaga downtown (Hotel AC Malaga Palacio Stop). It will go directly to the PTA and make a second stop at Posadas de España Malaga Hotel at the entrance of the PTA to pick up more participants.
It will make a final stop at Caterpillar, one of the venues of the Plugfest. This courtesy bus will be also available in the afternoon to take the participants back to the Posadas de España Hotel and to Malaga downtown.

All technical materials or equipment required for the event that can’t be carried by the participants must be sent in advance to Caterpillar. All packages must be received before September 25th 2019.
1. Before sending your package, please send an email with the following information:
· Subject: OMNIAIR Plugfest – Shipping
· Proforma invoice that shows:
o Exporter name
o Consignee (Caterpillar)
o Description of the items in your package
o HS Code, country of origin, value and currency for each item
o Terms of delivery shall be DDP –Delivery Duties Paid

Customs entry into Spain and terms of delivery
Senders are responsible for all fees related to sending its package, including freight fees, export fees, import fees, any taxes, duties or brokerage fees applicable, if any. Caterpillar or DEKRA will not use their Spanish custom brokers to make the custom entry in Spain for the sender.

3. After you send your package, please send an email with the following information:

· Package “tracking number”

4. Return of the items back to you
Sender is responsible for returning the items from Caterpillar to its original location.
Sender shall make all the necessary arrangements with its usual shipping company and provide all the required paperwork.
At the closure of the event, the participant responsible of the item must leave it ready for shipment: that is, properly packaged, labelled and with all the required paperwork. The original packages will be stored during the Plugfest for its reutilization and if they are no longer usable, Caterpillar will facilitate new ones.
The selected shipping company can collect them at Caterpillar’s facilities from Monday October 7th.
Caterpillar or DEKRA will not be responsible of returning any items and will not prepare any paperwork.

Internet Access
Complimentary internet access will be available at both Omniair Plugfest venues; the Caterpillar Demonstrations & Learning Centre and at DEKRA’s Connected Car Test Area.
Meals
Coffee, tea, refreshments and snacks will be available during the Omniair Plugfest at Caterpillar’s site. Water will be available at the Outdoor Testing venue at DEKRA Connected Car Test Area.
Buffet lunch will be served on Monday September 30th at Caterpillar Customer Solutions Centre.
Lunches from Tuesday, October 1 to Thursday, October 3 will be served at Caterpillar La Casa Restaurant.
