OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, Tolling and Connected Vehicles, will be working with test equipment vendors and test laboratories to provide comprehensive conformance and interoperability testing of V2X devices at the upcoming Québec Plugfest, hosted at Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Test Centre in Blainville, Québec. OmniAir Plugfests are the world’s largest connected vehicle conference and testing event. For the fourth year in a row, the event has SOLD OUT

a full week before opening! The Québec Plugfest is our largest and most successful to date, thanks in part to our partner and host Propulsion Québec.

“OmniAir is pleased to partner with Propulsion Quebec to bring the world’s largest Connected Vehicle Testing Event to the Montreal region,” said Jason Conley, Executive Director for OmniAir Consortium. “Testing teams from 20 countries will participate in the week-long testing event offering 300 individual test sessions, designed to ensure that life-saving Connected Vehicle technologies are interoperable, secure, and conform to industry standards.”

Those that were able to purchase their tickets before the event SOLD OUT are in for an informative two-days. The Connected Vehicle Policy Conference and Technical Workshop features several panels comprised of leading industry experts from around the world. They will explore technical and policy issues, including global interoperability, cybersecurity, autonomous shuttle projects, as well as sustainable transportation options. Representatives from Transport Canada, the Québec Government, and local industry leaders will be in attendance. Event participants will also enjoy several networking opportunities.

PMG Technologies will offer live demonstrations of connected vehicle safety applications and tours of their facility. Indoor bench and track testing tours will be offered to attendees and media representatives, on the second day.
