OmniAir Consortium has announced the speaker lineup for its OmniAir Québec Plugfest May 6-10 in the Montreal region.

The week-long event, hosted by Propulsion Québec at Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Test Centre in Blainville, Québec, is the premiere Connected Vehicle testing event in North America.

The first two days will feature a Connected Vehicle Policy Conference and Technical Workshop.

Our special presenter for the event is Pierre Fitzgibbon,  Minister of Economy and Innovation for Québec.

Panels of leading technical and policy experts from around the world will explore technical and policy issues, including global interoperability, cybersecurity, autonomous shuttle projects, as well as sustainable transportation options. There are representatives from Transport Canada, the Québec Government, and local industry leaders along with connected mobility experts, and researchers, from world, renowned universities and privately traded corporations.

Live demonstrations of connected vehicle safety applications, tours of the indoor bench and track testing will be offered to attendees and media representatives.
