OmniAir Consortium® invites you to the premier event for connected vehicle testing, the OmniAir Michigan Plugfest. The event brings together global leaders in V2X technology, including automotive OEMs, device manufacturers, test labs, equipment providers, and deploying agencies. The Plugfest will take place October 6–10 at the American Center for Mobility.

We are excited to share that 21 companies have already signed up, including OBU, RSU, and module manufacturers, as well as test laboratories and test equipment providers. Representatives from the Michigan Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation will also be in attendance.

This year’s Plugfest will also feature powerful simulation capabilities, supporting virtually any Basic Safety Message (BSM) scenario, including all event flags. Tools on site can emulate stations, populate messages with precise data, and adapt scenarios on the fly.

Participants will be able to test a range of Day 1 use cases, including Emergency Brake Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Control Lost Warning, and Emergency Vehicle Warning.

These scenarios can be quickly configured during testing, with flexible adjustments for speed, distance, and other parameters.

Beyond BSM, additional messages such as Signal Request and Status Messages can also be simulated, expanding the range of test possibilities.

If you have not yet registered your device for testing, there is still time to participate. Space is limited, so we encourage you to confirm your spot soon.

Please reach out with any questions or to reserve your place. We look forward to seeing you in Michigan.
