Twice a year, OmniAir looks forward to hosting our members from around the world at our OmniAir Plugfests. These events provide an unparalleled opportunity for V2X device manufacturers to engage in week-long interoperability, conformance, and security testing with leading test labs and test equipment providers from around the world.
However, considering the current Coronavirus/COVD-19 outbreak, we are postponing our OmniAir Lone Star Plugfest, which had been scheduled for the week of April 27-May 1 in Austin, TX.
OmniAir Consortium’s top priority is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of our members, attendees, and staff. In consultation with our event partners and given the developing and evolving nature of the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak, we have decided that postponing the event is the correct course of action.
Like the Connected Vehicle industry itself, OmniAir is a global organization. Our members come from over 26 countries around the world. Over 50% of OmniAir’s members are based outside of North America. We take our responsibility to ensure the health and safety of this community seriously.
OmniAir is working with event partners to set a new date for the OmniAir Lone Star Plugfest, with a target for this summer. We will announce new date within the next two weeks. Please consult our website www.omniair.org for further updates.

In addition to hosting, UL will conduct device testing sessions. UL uses research and standards to advance and meet ever-evolving safety needs.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission, or MTC, is the transportation planning, financing and coordinating agency for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area. The MTC is hosting the Connected Vehicle Workshop and Welcome Reception in their downtown San Francisco office.

Anritsu’s business expansion has occurred chiefly in the information and communication field. The company’s flagship measuring instrument business provides products and services indispensable to the development, manufacture and maintenance of a range of communication systems as typified in mobile phones and the Internet on a global scale. Anritsu is providing device testing session as is hosting the morning coffee services and daily lunch for Plufgest participants.
