OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, announces DEKRA’s test facility based in Málaga, Spain, is the world’s first OmniAir Authorized Field Test Site (OAFTS) for LTE-V2X PC5-based, cellular-vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology.

Connected vehicle technology providers now have a facility that delivers actionable, reliable, and repeatable testing for C-V2X devices.

“DEKRA is a proven leader in providing connected vehicle testing, and we are pleased they were the first to pass the comprehensive audit to become an OAFTS to offer C-V2X certification testing,” said Jason Conley, Executive Director for OmniAir. “We are excited to expand our field test sites to include connected vehicles and RFID tolling.”

OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratories, tolling vendors, and device makers may apply to have their test site audited by OmniAir and be added to our list of authorized sites to conduct official certification testing.
