European trust services and V2X security certificate provider, Microsec Ltd., has joined OmniAir Consortium®.  Based in Hungary, the firm has a prominent role in Public Key Infrastructure based electronic signature solution developments, online user authentication, delivery systems, encryption, and various Trust Services.

Microsec offers the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) background that provides security infrastructure (V2X certificates) for car manufacturers, vendors, roadside and onboard unit developers, transportation and smart city infrastructure operators.

The company is participating in this month’s OmniAir Global Plugfest, which is bringing together leading C-V2X and DSRC device manufacturers for conformance, interoperability, and security testing at six locations around the world.  Microsec is providing security certificates for participants and is assisting in security testing.

Based on the results of the OmniAir Global Plugfest, OmniAir will be launching the world’s first comprehensive testing and certification program for C-V2X radios (OBUS and RSUs) later this year.
