Recent alumna and university students interested in S.T.E.M.-related programs are invited to join OmniAir, in partnership with the University of Michigan Mcity Test Facility, for an inspiring conversation with female industry leaders who have made the S.T.E.M. fields, and related industries, their careers.
Panelists will share insights about their path to their current career, the challenges they have encountered, and the experiences that have shaped their decisions.
Event participants will have the opportunity to ask the panelists for advice on topics related to professional growth, overcoming obstacles, developing strong network connections, and achieving career satisfaction. After the main event, attendees will enjoy lunch and the opportunity to continue networking. There is no fee to attend this event.
The full event agenda includes a tour of the Mcity Test Facility, a 32-acre site located on the University of Michigan’s North Campus Research Complex, an overview of OmniAir Michigan Plugfest field-testing activities, and the above-referenced panel presentation followed by lunch.
OmniAir members are encouraged to forward this invitation to those they feel would be interested or benefit from attending.
Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
The health and safety of event participants and staff are our top priority. In order to ensure a safe event, we have limited in-person attendance at this time.
OmniAir will continue to monitor the ever-evolving situation surrounding COVID-19. Event participants are encouraged to check the OmniAir Michigan Plugfest event website often for event updates or reach out to Kate Oldham with any questions or for additional information.
