OmniAir Consortium, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for Connected Vehicles, tolling and ITS, has announced its testing schedule and parallel technical sessions for Motor City Plugfest, the week of May 7th, in Plymouth, MI.

Hosted by Intertek and the American Center for Mobility at Willow Run, this is the premier testing event for Connected Vehicles. OmniAir Consortium’s Motor City Plugfest will offer vendors intensive, week-long V2X device testing, including lab conformance, interoperability, security, and field performance testing. With fifteen world-renowned test laboratories and test systems providers on hand to provide participants with a unique, one-of-a-kind testing experience.

Device manufacturers considering applying for OmniAir Certification for their DSRC-V2X devices are strongly encouraged to participate. Suppliers, OEMs, chipset manufacturers, and transportation agencies planning V2V and V2I projects will benefit from attending.

OmniAir will offer over 400 lab and field test sessions, across 15 test stations, allowing vendors to test their devices with multiple test labs and test tool providers. Also, for the first time, OmniAir will include a test station dedicated to C-V2X devices.

The preliminary bench testing schedule is available here.

NOTE: OmniAir will schedule devices for testing on a first-come, first-serve basis.  So, if you have not yet registered, please do so before April 30 to preserve your test slots.
