OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles, has elected two new directors to fulfill the terms of their predecessors. The board elections were made during the summer executive board meeting held in Salem, Oregon, hosted by our Executive Member, the Oregon Department of Transportation, on Thursday, June 8.

Newly Elected Directors and treasurer

In addition to the new directors, Jacob Harel, Senior Principal Engineer for HARMAN International and Vincent D. Park, Senior Director of Technical Standards at Qualcomm Technologies Inc., Jeff Dailey, the Assistant Executive Director of Operations for the North Texas Tollway Authority, was elected Treasurer. Jeff was elected to the board of directors in December 2021 and served as the Public Sector Representative on the Executive Committee.

“We are pleased to welcome these distinguished transportation technology professionals to OmniAir’s leadership team,” said Jason Conley, Executive Director of OmniAir Consortium. “I am confident they will make great contributions to advancing our mission of ensuring interoperability in ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles.”

With nearly 100 members worldwide, OmniAir’s membership includes device manufacturers, engineering firms, test labs, test equipment providers, automotive OEMs, Tier One suppliers, and deploying agencies. OmniAir offers independent, third-party testing and certification programs for electronic toll collection and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connected vehicle technologies.
