OmniAir Consortium®, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for ITS, tolling, and connected vehicles that a record number of companies have already to registered for participate in the first OmniAir® Plugfest in Asia this November.

OmniAir Taipei Plugfest, hosted in partnership with the Taiwan Telematics Industry Association, will bring together leading C-V2X technology companies for a week of intensive testing in laboratory and field environments. OmniAir Plugfests are the premiere testing event for connected vehicles, drawing together device manufacturers, test laboratories, test equipment providers, infrastructure owner-operators and security experts from around the world.

“We are seeing a growing global demand for trusted and tested C-V2X technologies” said Jason Conley, Executive Director for OmniAir Consortium.  “Taipei—the heart of the advanced electronics manufacturing industry—is the perfect location to host our first connected vehicle testing event in Asia.”  

Nearly two months before the OmniAir Taipei Plugfest kick-off, 31 companies have registered to take advantage of comprehensive testing for cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) devices, including OBUs, RSUs, and modules. Of the 31 companies, 15 will operate test stations led by leading wireless and transportation testing experts; the remaining are C-V2X device manufacturers, some testing multiple devices.

Companies interested in testing C-V2X chipsets, modules, radios, and software stacks, should register now.  Early bird pricing ends on September 15.  Once maximum capacity for testing slots is reached, OmniAir will close registrations.  Hurry and REGISTER NOW!
