The OmniAir Mcity Plugfest, hosted by the University of Michigan Transportation Institute, is less than two months away!
Participating suppliers and device manufacturers will have the opportunity for extensive testing with leading vehicle-to-everything (V2X) testing experts. Our initial test stations include OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratories, four SCMS/PKI security providers, bench and field test tool providers, and leading systems integrators.
So far, we have over 20 companies and organizations already registered to participate–to help ensure connected vehicle and connected infrastructure technologies are ready to deploy. If you are interested in device testing, there is still time to register.
The week-long testing event will focus on interoperability, conformance, and security testing in bench and field environments for cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) OBUs, RSUs, and modules. Testing will take place the week of May 13-17 at the world-class Mcity Test Facility in Ann Arbor, MI.
This Plugfest will have a particular focus on security and SCMS interoperability, with four SCMS providers confirmed to participate. Device interoperability and V2V and V2I safety applications and use cases will also be an area of focus.
OmniAir Plugfests are the premier testing events for connected vehicles, bringing together leading test laboratories, test equipment providers, and device manufacturers from around the world.
In conjunction with the Plugfest, OmniAir will host a Connected Mobility Workshop, with live V2X technology and testing demonstrations at M-City.
